[–] Does anyone know what this symbol means? Found in an old Girl Scout book from the 50’s. I tried to Google it already but couldn’t find anything. maekae_ 1 points ago in occult

Oh yeah, I’ll always cherish the stuff that we did do and the memories I have from that time.

The reason I made this post was actually because I was thinking of getting this symbol tattooed on me to symbolize my love of reading, just wanted to know the origin first. And I would also like another tattoo of just the Girl Scout symbol. One of the girls in my troop (the troop leader’s daughter actually) was a good friend of mine as we grew up, but unfortunately in our freshman year of high school she killed herself. I just can’t bring myself to get rid of anything I made/prizes I earned through GS because they’re all tied to memories of her. I’m hoping that she would see the tattoo as a way to honor her.

Yeah I kinda wish it had been more like that for my troop. We did activities and such but my troop leader wasn’t really as active as I would’ve liked. We didn’t have much of a focus on the badges. Still a lot of fun and great memories though

He looks like if Channing Tatum smoked meth and became your high school gym/history teacher

[–] Anyone here ever try using a D&D character sheet to develop a character for your story? maekae_ 1 points ago in writing

I never even thought to take the actual test lol, I just took it and it says I’m Lawful Evil myself 😂

But thanks, that’ll probably help me get into the head of each character more

[–] If your first language is English, you have no excuse for not being able to distinguish between “there”, “their”, and “they’re”. maekae_ 1 points ago in unpopularopinion

Another one I see way more often than I should is people mixing up “are” and “our”. Like why? Only one letter is the same in those two words and they don’t even fucking remotely mean the same thing. Using speech-to-text is the only excuse I can think of but it still makes you look like a dumb bitch if you keep making that mistake.
