I left out the depressive realism and the reoccuring existential crisis that undertoned all of his life lessons. I figured id just stick to the positive vibes

Also I started my construction company by working my way up from the bottom. I used to be the sweeper trash kid. You earn your way to the top so yes I feel like I can relate with "the layman". I still do grunt work everyday. Im shoulder to shoulder with my guys everyday

My broom pusher makes 17$ an hour...yes yes they can and most of them do. Its construction, its hard work but good money.

He had his moments. Not an over abundance of affection, as far as todays standards he was one cold son of a bitch. I can count on one hand how many time he whooped my ass but I remember every one because his hand were like stones. He worked 7 days a week for my whole childhood for me and 3 other kids, but made it to 3/4 of my games and every championship. When he spoke everyone listened. He pressured me to be the best at anything I do everyday all day like some training camp and I dont remember him saying he was proud of me once before I was 18. We're great friends now and I love him for the life lessons he instilled in me but I wouldnt mind going a few rounds with the prick now Im all grown up. But now hes too old so we make him do all the shit for our kids that he never did for us. Ill tell you, seeing that ptsd riddled, stern agressive, deliberate, ass kicking, ex-military man at my 4 year neices tea party with painted nails and a bead necklace, made all that shit when I was a kid, worth it

We had a travel ban for a year that is still in effect for half the planet, why would I be talking about durning the outbreak...Im just giving you hard evidence that youre full of it. I was talking about years building up to this year and how me and a lot of people like me that I know with shit paying jobs travel all the time. Theirs an entire culture around cheap traveling. You think rich people are staying at 6$ a night air BNBs or are couch surfing? Fuck no. I stayed front beach in costa with roundtrip tickets and everything paid for for a week for 500$ my whole point is that boo hoo im poor and only rich people travel is complete bullshit and only kids and naive americans think thats true. The vast majority of people could travel in america but choose to pay for beer or videogames or a new spoiler or wtf ever. Less than 12% of americans live in poverty, so that "everyones poor" mentality is horseshit. If you want to travel go work more than 40 hours a week and save up. Stop acting like people that are smarter than you with managing their money are rich. And I dont know what tf unforseen massive medical issues have to with this but you can do what I did, get gov. assistance and pay the 20$ for almost unlimited coverage and a 500$ deductable with no copays and all the bells and whistles. And I have no Idea what youre on about with the paid holiday but Ill give you that but say, if you want to travel and would like to get paid for that time where you arent working apply for jobs that have paid holidays...wtf I am clueless why im sitting here debating this. You guys win fuck it travel is too expensive unless youre royalty. Please do not travel

What tf are you on about. Some guy started a debate with me and I supported my argument with evidence you fucking tree stump. What should my angle have been...? Stfu

I dont think anyone can but the vast majority can. Coming from someone who traveled making less than 12k a year had all the bills and drove my own car to work.

No I have a couple of companys. But I think you misread. I dont get 4 months off. I take a few weeks off every 4 to 6 months. I average 70 hours a week so I dont feel to bad when I take off

Alternator went out and lost control of the plane a couple years ago. He was doing what he loved when he went so..

Im not saying stop being poor. If MOST americans lived below the poverty line id agree but MOST dont

Oh gtfo if youre just starting out i get it but I moved out lived in a car for 4 months before jumping from sofa to sofa for a year before being able to get my own place. I worked construction to pay my bills and I pulled it off in my early 20s. Stop going out to eat, you dont need HBO, look for deals for living situations, use public transportation, by your shit at goodwill. Living beyond your means isnt the same as poverty. If you want to travel its not anywhere close to impossible. You have to make sacrifices, thats life

I have chosen my lifestyle so I can do this. I understand if you have obligations like kids, work, school or have a disability. Then travel isnt for you. Its just what I love to do

He went by dean or dingo. But if you called him zac hed just laugh and never correct you to make it an ongoing joke. He fucked with everybody he met, so maybe haha. He also hugged everyone instead of shaking hands so that would be a dead give away

Thats not how I took it. I took it as keep your head down, stay focused and keep working your ass off and the only way to balance that life style is to play your ass off. So I work my ass off for 4 or 6 months then travel for a few weeks. Ive been doing this for years and Im a pretty happy dude.

My best friend did just that. He quit for a year and a half sold all his stuff except a change of clothes a tent and a backpack and traveled central america as a "wanderer" i naively called it being a bumb at the time. He came back, became an emt, then did sea and air rescue before becoming a pilot. He was the best person ive ever met. Would work a 20 hour shift then give the literal shirt off his back. Sometimes giving up is just another way to find a way to live a fuller life
