Well, once I legit took 7 screenshots to a conversation I was having with a really cool girl and I wanted to share part of it with my friend so he could see how chill she was. Accidentally sent all 7 to the girl via WhatsApp. She was already sleeping at the time and only responded the next morning. One of the worst nights ever.

[–] Harry Potter is a solid children's series - but I find it mildly frustrating that so many adults of my generation never seem to 'graduate' beyond it & other YA series to challenge themselves. Anyone agree or disagree? miselfi3 1 points ago in books

I understand where OP is coming from with this subject. As an avid reader, I like to read all sorts of books, so I can have a solid opinion about the different genres in existence. The thing about HP that makes it pretty unique is the fact that yes, it is a YA novel and it's a must read for people at that stage, but it is also much more than that. I read the whole series 3 times by now. I'm 22. By the third time I read, which wasn't that long ago, I noticed things that I didn't noticed in the two other readings I gave to the series. It's like JKR wrote the books in a way that, when you come back later in life with more experience in reading and in life in general, the story offers you something more. I don't really know how to explain this, but everytime you come back to it, there's new things that were left unnoticed and there's always something more to learn.

I think that this is the real "magic" that made people get so attached with HP.
