I'm surprised it's not a lot more than that tbh.

Whatever you did to qualify yourself for the job. Afterwards, ostensibly, leaving your previous known job for something more or less unknown. The job interview itself isn't really a risk at all.

Why doesn't it? There are roads with no markings at all and no one is retarded enough to think the whole 25 feet is a single lane road.

There's a video somewhere in the thread, there's clearly enough room for two cars in each direction as well as a center stripe.

There is a stripe in the center.

Edit: it's about as much contrast as the crosswalk

That's retarded, you can't have a parking/standing only without a stripe. For low speed roads it's completely normal two have to lanes and no stripe, regardless of whether or not parking is permitted.

Twenty food wide single lanes with an unmarked shoulder aren't the norm either. There is enough room for two cars because it is two lanes. City traffic would grind to a halt otherwise.

For low speed roads that's not really a strict requirement for two lanes.

If that were parking/standing only, there would definitely be a stripe.

I'm not sure why you'd even think that's a one lane street.

All the risk is before that happens.

Always remember to show up to the free money meetings!

If it were that easy to assess the risk and reward of an investment everyone would be rich.

That isn't a right of way issue to begin with, unless the guy decides to crash into you and say he was actually driving straight as an insurance scam. Another case in which a dash cam would be incredibly helpful.

The only things with predictable outcomes have almost no reward associated with them. For 99.99% of things you can do, the gain/loss ratio is completely unknowable.

The only ones that are even slightly predictable are, like, T Bills/Bonds.

There are literally zero activities without the risk of loss. Hell, that's the only reason any of them even offer any kind of return at all.

I suppose that's true. I stand by my it'd be retarded to try commentary.

[–] German restaurant imposes 'no children allowed' dinner policy nattypnutbuterpolice -7 points ago in worldnews

Maybe it's just the types of places I go to but I can't recall the last time a child caused an issue at a restaurant. Adults are too loud way more often.
