Yeah the key word here is offered. I don't think this man will end up being employed with this company.. he may not even want that kind of job.

[–] Dropping Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki Was Unnecessary ndegges 1 points ago in politics

Huh? I'm not using any alt accounts. That's a direct quote from the article I posted..

[–] Dropping Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki Was Unnecessary ndegges 0 points ago in politics

MacArthur thought the use of atomic bombs was inexcusable. He later wrote to former President Hoover that if Truman had followed Hoover’s “wise and statesmanlike” advice to modify its surrender terms and tell the Japanese they could keep their emperor, “the Japanese would have accepted it and gladly I have no doubt.”

Before the bombings, Eisenhower had urged at Potsdam, “the Japanese were ready to surrender and it wasn’t necessary to hit them with that awful thing.”

Yeah I'm already getting downvoted into oblivion. I'm not saying fighting Japan made us bad. Just speaking in terms of the atomic bomb.

Dropping an atomic bomb unnecessarily seems pretty bad. Obviously fighting the Nazis was good but the atomic bombs were not necessary.

Founding fathers sure loved vandalism when they were throwing tea in the harbor. They loved violence when they fought against the crown.

That and licensing them! They just go to the next department over when they fuck up. Zero accountability.
