In the books he's actually really gentle with her. Kind changes the whole Drogo character by it being basically rape.

Yea the fact that men gain power as the age and women lose it is the construct of traditional gender roles and are rightfully bullshit. Telling half of the world population that being pretty and having kids are the only thing they are worth is pretty dumb and limits the advancement of humanity as a whole. Women should be able to do whatever the hell they want and if guys who can't get laid don't like it tough shit. Step your game up or shit the fuck up.

Which is why being a man is easier in the long run. Men gain power as they age. Woman lose it.

Dude that's not a bad thing...it means she's thinking about you sexually.

Follow the underlining logic. Its about having no choice in a matter.

Once again that doesn't make it right. If a man is held at gunpoint and told he will lose his arm or his leg he makes a choice. You could argue that since the man was given a choice he should not complain about the results when ultimately it was the man with the gun pushing the choice on him. Now picture the women in this situation. They are forced to do humiliating sexual things in order to further their career in the field. Just because they made the choice to go through with it doesn't mean that it was okay for those in power to force the choice upon them. Add to that line of logic that many of these men and women are also under age and the immorality of the situation becomes more apparent. Historically women have had very little power over what men do to their bodies due to the power that men held over them (physically, financially, etc...) so this becomes another way that those who have power use it to take away the agency women ( and plenty of men) have over their bodies. It's not that these people made a choice...it's that they had to make the choice at all that makes this so immoral. Especially when there are children involved.
