Letterboxing - geocaching’s great granddad! Super fun. You get to solve riddles, see interesting sights, and see lots of handcrafted stamps. Wife and I started doing it about 10 years ago. There are probably many boxes around your hone city, and whenever we travel we always check if there are any local!

Yes. You need to use an older wine though. I use 4.0 staging

Use playonmac or wineskin, Pick a 32 bit bottle. Install corefonts and dx9 with winetricks. It's been a while since I did a fresh install

I gave it to another player as I've left aradune for a server without queue

So the issue with modern browsers is that they sandbox the browser. You have limited access to Cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage. The filesystem is completely sandboxed. While I can select the file for upload, once the dialog is closed the browser can no longer see the live updates to the file. It essentially makes a copy of the selected file at that point and no chances will be seen. This means you can't live stream the logs from the browser and it would rewrite another application to upload logs.

Currently I am parsing and upload log data via python. It's cumbersome to setup as it wasn't meant for an enduser. I could write another application to handle uploading logs, but it's honestly not worth the effort. I also doubt people want to install software to upload logs.

The reason tlpauctions shutdown is modern browsers don’t like live file uploads. If the aradune queue isn’t handled next week I’ll be passing the project on to someone else as I’ll be switching servers

Setup https://araduneauctions.net/ yesterday. Still refining the regex and it will improve over the coming days. It should help though

Aradune has a 2 box limit with one client per computer. They say they will have dedicated GM support.

Rizlona allows unlimited clients from a single computer

It uses a d6. The box set has some tokens to help keep track of things but depending o Nebraska age of your nephews you don’t need them. Pennies knuckles and dimes also work well for the tokens. I’ve had this game a few years (Kickstarter backer) and my kids (7, 4) love it. I also have the adventure deck as it makes coming up with new adventures on the fly very easy. I do wish there were more published adventures for when I’m not feeling creative

    Edit:

It’s very playable remote over video chat
