    Sullivan would fit perfectly!

Other options are Sherwood, Salem or Selwin.

    That looks right. Thanks!

I’ve had it for around 5 years. It does this every year—all the leaves dry up and fall off over the summer, then reappear in winter. The leaves you see there are new growth.

That said, it does need repotting.

I’ve had this in the same soil since university, so it definitely needs repotting.

Every year it grows dark purple leaves, which dry out and fall off over the summer. Those leaves you can see are this year’s regrowth.

You’re probably right! Although it’s River Styx :)

Purely rods for hangers. I’ll look into the track-based system. Thanks!

    Thanks for the advice!

I’ll be using a heavy velvet curtain with a fancy tie back so it shouldn’t look temporary/messy.

Thanks for taking the time to answer me. I appreciate it! Hoping it’s not weird that there’s no visible bacteria bloom (cloudiness)...

Just tested my tap water and Nitrate is at 5.0ppm. Everything else is zero except pH (thankfully) which is 6.7.

Looks like 5.0ppm Nitrate in tap water is pretty regular...?

I know, right?! That’s why I’m being cautious—feel like it’s some freak thing that’ll crash at any moment...

From what I can gather, ML NO II is in the same camp as Tetra SafeStart, which is a pretty popular cycling product, so I’d imagine it provides stable long-term results...but as this is my first time using it I can’t say for sure!

I thought so, too, but in researching other people have had success with the Microbe Lift Nite Out II. My understanding is that it provides the bacteria that carries out the nitrification process, thus speeding up the Ammonia-Nitrite-Nitrate conversion...

I’m following the instructions to a T and have even been timing myself vigorously shaking the bottle and vial to ensure I get accurate results.

Testing my tap water is a good shout. I’ll do that now.

Unfortunately I don’t know as it was a screenshot—I tried crossposting but couldn’t for some reason.

    Talk about total verbal evisceration.

He looks like a young John Travolta on the box.
