I've lived in section 8 and it certainly depends on the area. I was in an OK area and it really helped me get on my feet. The building was in shit condition but it was more than tolerable.

I just got my 9 year old an android tablet because it seems like a good mix of freedom and control with the newish family setup. The kids kindle was too locked down, you gotta give kids training wheels for the internet.

Not quite sure what you mean but it was a wake up call for him. He quit drinking and got his personal life back on track. He's handicapped but better than he was before overall. I was elbow deep in his coagulated blood that filled the kitchen and was the only family in town to support his wife, my sister, for weeks after.

My brother and law fell into a non-tempered glass door and sliced his artery in his leg. He almost bled out and was in a chemical induced coma for weeks. It took six months if recovery in the hospital. He's now almost blind, can't drive, and walks with a major limp. Guess who got to clean up that bloody mess. I have nightmares to this day.

I once bought watches for my sister and her husband that said msrp $575 but paid $10. The $10 tag was on the bottom of the box, the msrp was a plastic tag in full view. I left both there. I thought it was hilarious, they didn't get my humor.

I've spent ten years getting my credit score to the upper 700s. I'd be pissed if someone ruined that.
