I’ve been drawing my whole life because I love it. If you want to improve yourself technically everything you could want to know is online, search for anatomy information, or colour and light etc and get learning and practising :)

I'm currently working on publishing the book, you can follow me on insta @seansevestre for updates on that and where to get it when it's out :) thanks

Sounds like you know what the problem is :) Don't let fear of failure stop you from drawing, I have filled countless sketchbooks before this one and thousands of other drawings and paintings outside of my sketchbooks.

A good tip for getting past that paralysing state is just get some loose sheets of printer paper and a clipboard. There couldnt be less pressure, I do this myself and it's great. Good luck with your work

    I learned a lot.

But the main thing I learned I think, is that every style is an opportunity for a different feeling/expression. Like music, a Chopin piece has a very different feeling to something by lets say Iron Maiden or Bob Marley.

But all are valuable in their own way, if you want to be able to portray all kinds of worthwhile feelings and moods, a wide range of control of style is a powerful tool.

A lot of artists search for their style, as if you're meant to only have one. Some do and that's fine but there is no rule/limit. What style is best for the requirements of one piece might not be the best fit for the next. And also it's a lot of fun, and challenges you both technically and creatively to play with style, so I recommend to any artist to be more playful with style and challenge themselves with one they feel uncomfortable with, you will learn a lot and at the very least have new appreciation for those who do it well. :-)

I use moleskin sketchbooks, the paper is smooth and thick, great for all kinds of media. Which to answer your second question, I used just about everything. Pencils, pen, gouache, acrylic, oils, markers, paint pens, chopped up stickers, coloured pencil, inks etc haha

Pages range from 30minutes to a week or more. I had no deadline on when I would finish this or what it had to be, just begin and see where it takes you. Perfectionism to the point of being afraid to start will only hold you back.
If it helps get a clipboard with loose paper sheets and treat that as your sketchbook where you can do whatever, thats what I do and it helps with getting past any perfectionism.

of all the different media I used in this book only one bled through the pages, copic markers. And I only used those once and made sure to paint thick paintings on the pages either side to hide it. I use moleskin sketchbooks and the paper is very thick it puts up with a lot :)

Every seemingly complex shape is just a combination of more simple shapes, cubes spheres cylinders. If you can learn to simplify what you see and understand basics forms well you can draw just about anything :)
