[–] There are 186 things Donald Trump Jr. says he can’t remember or doesn’t know about the Trump Tower meeting snowmansni 32 points ago * (lasted edited 5 days ago) in politics

Here's a sample of the 35 things that he can't remember as listed in the article. If someone can extract the other 151 things from the full transcript, that would be pretty cool.

    • Speaking with Jared Kushner or Paul Manafort about the Trump Tower meeting: “I do not recall ever discussing it with Jared, Paul, or anyone else. In short, I gave it no further thought.”
    • Whether lobbyist and former Soviet counterintelligence officer Rinat Akhmetshin was at the Trump Tower meeting.
    • Whether Manafort asked questions or made comments in the Trump Tower meeting
    • Whether Trump Jr. had any contacts with attendees after the meeting
    • Whether Trump Jr. discussed his statement on the meeting with other attendees. (“Not that I recall. I may have, but certainly not before the first statement.”)
    • Talking to the Trump campaign’s foreign policy advisor, Carter Page
    • What Trump campaign foreign advisor George Papadopoulos did on the campaign
    • What consultant and lobbyist Rick Gates’ role and/or title in the campaign was (Gates pleaded guilty to conspiracy against the US in the election-meddling investigation.)
    • Speaking to anyone about Goldstone’s email promising incriminating details on Hillary Clinton
    • Whether he loved that the potentially damaging information on Clinton came from the Russian government’s support for Trump
    • Whether he spoke to Kushner about the meeting before the New York Times reported on the emails
    • Whether anyone met with Sergey Kislyak
    • Whether there were Russian investors in underlying Trump Organization development projects
    • Whether the Trump Organization did due diligence or background checks on real estate developer Felix Sater prior to engaging in business operations with him
    • When Trump Jr. learned about Sater’s criminal history
    • Who secured financing for Manhattan hotel Trump SoHo
    • Whether the Trump Organization tracks who pays all-cash

Edit: Commentary removed for legibility, and since it wasn't formatting properly on mobile.

[–] South Korea offers to mediate to clear doubts over North Korea-U.S. summit snowmansni 2 points ago * (lasted edited 5 days ago) in politics

I think it shows the opposite. It implies that NK-US are unable to strike a deal or negotiate faithfully without external support at the moment.

Though, aside from arguments over who is weaker or who is more macho, the objective is hopefully peace, regardless.

Based on his previous behaviour and statements, President Moon seems to be willing to sacrifice ego to the other leaders if it would help effect peace and better relations in the end. So I don't think he would really care if he were appearing more desperate/weaker if it would ultimately help with those goals.

Is it? I take down then. Ran it through karma decay and couldn't find anything.
