[–] This article perfectly shows how Uber and Lyft are taking advantage of drivers that don't understand the real costs of the business. theVoxFortis 10 points ago in personalfinance

Obviously actual cost depends on the exact vehicle. The point is that real expenses are much closer to the federal rate than they are to just the cost of gas, which is usually the only expense these drivers consider.

First time buying an actual box of cigars instead of samplers. Rocky Patel decade with a free sampler pack.

Highest immune is wrong for week 2, should be the Steelers (highest vote total in the AFC). Cowboys and Vikings are in the same conference.

You should give Meetup another chance, it may take some time and effort before you meet some people you click with though. If you like sports, intramural teams are a great way to meet people.

[–] New fan from England. What do I need to know ? Apart from FTP theVoxFortis 8 points ago in minnesotavikings

I think as long as Payton is the coach. And no, 2017 wasn't payback. We would have won the Superbowl in 2009, they owe us a ring.

[–] I'd love to see the option to give teammates and enemies thumbs up for sportsmanship/good teammate/honorable opponent etc. in the post-game screen! We already punish bad behaviour, why shouldn't we reward good manners? theVoxFortis 0 points ago in RocketLeague

I have teammates who are afk for half the match that I report and they never do anything about it. I have teammates who vote for ff and then stop playing that I report that I never hear back from. So no, I have trouble believing you.

The fact that there is no penalty for abandoning a ranked game shows how little they care about this problem.
