Hello u/gingerslayr7. What does "regressive term" mean? Whatever it is, it's pretty much invalidated by you getting vulgar. But I've never heard this terminology before. What did you mean?

[–] Is there any way to disable the ability to report a post for a particular user? Is there a way to see who made a report? yearlyfiscal 1 points ago * (lasted edited 10 days ago) in modhelp

The answer to both your questions is "No."

But let me ask you this. What do you have against simply clicking on Approve Post and then on Ignore Reports? All the posts in my sub are "mod approved", so people can hit Report all day long if they want to--like they do on the Gallowboob posts. It doesn't phase me one bit. The Ignore Report button is there for you to use. So use it?

It's not even as high as 1,000 is it? It's much less than that, right?

[–] Why does the Creator of an active sub who hasn't logged on in 5+ years get to keep it? yearlyfiscal 5 points ago * (lasted edited 18 days ago) in modhelp

    https://www.reddit.com/r/redditrequest/comments/65xcya/omg_its_here_new_process_for_removing_moderators/

We've put in a request 2x on one of our subs. The guy has not logged into the sub in 2 yrs but we were told he was active on reddit. We've gotten 200k subscribers since then. One of our biggest fears is one day he's going to come back and just kick us all out or shut the sub down. Then all that work we've done to build the sub up was for nothing. But we haven't tried their new process for removing that type of mod yet. Now we're thinking if we try the new process it might make him mad and there's no telling what will happen.

Anyway, it's just the way it is and we all know it before we decide to mod a sub. So you have to consider that and what other mods are above you before you take over any sub. Me and another guy wanted to get r/OldPeopleGIfs. The mod there didn't do jack shit with it for a year and had no activity for a year anywhere. Just a few hours after the request was sent, he showed back up to respond to it. So you definitely can't just judge his profile activity. When we requested it, he sent us a message telling us we could have it and he would stay out of the way but he was going to stay on as top mod. He even sent us the mod invites. Yeah right buddy. We promptly denied those invites :)

You really need to be over here: https://www.reddit.com/r/csshelp, and give them a link to your sub. Also, don't use preview. Just view the sub in another browser different from your main account. Also, if you're not refreshing your page (for me it's control F5), it could take a minute for the change to go into effect to where you can see it.

It's a longer version, but how do you know that's the original?

[–] can you make a subsubreddit inside a subreddit yearlyfiscal 2 points ago in modhelp

Create the other sub. Then you could put a Sticky that links to the other sub. You could then keep posts out of one sub and the remove reason would be so they are posted in the other sub instead. Guess you could call the other one a "sister sub." It's a work-around and not incredibly efficient. But we got a "sister sub" for only gifs that got about 1,000 subscribers in 4 weeks when we did it.
