Yeah this is a typical ski lift being ridden in the summer. They still don’t have restraints, except for some that have a safety bar you can pull down, but that’s optional.

Pretty good considering they do 400 lifts a day!

This sounds like something more in line with the Halle Berry Catwomen. That one didn’t turn out so good though.

People should be required to sign a disclosure when buying a 4x4 that it only increases traction, and does nothing to improve braking or stopping in adverse conditions. People can be so stupid.

Sorry dude. Just trying to say where I shared it initially either didn’t see it or didn’t appreciate it. Just recently found this sub. I could really care less about your upvote (or downvote).

It’s true! I really couldn’t care less when I originally posted it over a year ago that it didn’t get any attention. But I recently found this sub and thought you guys might appreciate it as dads. This is what it’s all about.

Yeah! He was right at about 6 months when my wife took the video when she heard me coming up the stairs to our apartment. He’s almost two now, but still get equally excited when I get home!

My uncle always talked about sneaking in at night and playing the back 9. He disappeared 3 years ago. No trace

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD IN THE WORLD WHY DOES THE VIDEO CUT BEFORE IT HITS

[–] Insects could vanish within a century at current rate of decline, says global review zkiteman 90 points ago in science

It’s crazy how much people choose their produce based purely off aesthetics. Fruit and vegetables with blemishes are just as good as a perfect looking one. So much produce gets thrown away because of this, and that’s not even counting about the fruit you’re describing, which never makes it to the stores because farmers and grocers already know people won’t buy it.

This is a pretty narrow minded opinion imo. Blaming the last person in a long line of fractured infrastructure, non-existent education, and flat out corruption is like blaming a child for a mistake. Sure they may have known better, but after a certain point you have to start looking at the parents.

Problem with not using insecticides is that if we stopped, crop yields would drop drastically, to the point that entire countries would begin to starve immediately. It’s avoiding an immediate crisis by putting off a later crisis.

Edit: And to further the point, it would affect those of us in comfortable first work countries by drastically increasing prices of all food. Not just produce, but EVERYTHING, as all food, processed or not, originates from a staple crop typically. And I don’t just mean from $1 to $1.50. I’m talking like $1 to $5 or $6. They’ve done studies to explain the economics behind these types of ideas of just simply stopping the use of chemicals in agriculture. It’s pretty crazy.

How do we know our universe isn’t the one with time running backwards???

[–] My neckbeard friends foot wells are all filled with trash. The smell is a mix of rotting McDonald's and cheap cigarette s. zkiteman 5 points ago in carbage

Fun fact: McDonalds doesn’t rot. Well, then lettuce and tomatoes might, but the meat, bread, cheese, etc is so processed that it will look the same way it does when handed to you over the counter ten years later.

I saw it in an article about a doctors office I think that had a fast door meal sitting out in their lobby for years to show people just how unnatural it is.

By (Eddie) George, you’re right! I had completely forgotten about that. It was probably the blinding agony of being just one yard short...

[–] Did Jared Goff’s performance last night look familiar? zkiteman 5 points ago in Tennesseetitans

Yeah but KC choked almost as much as we came back fighting. Had that been any other playoff caliber team, and that come back probably wouldn’t have happened. That’s an unpopular opinion around here, I am aware.

[–] Never forget, We get a piece zkiteman 6 points ago in Tennesseetitans

Yeah I guess fans will celebrate what they can, but taking consolation in a meaningless win just doesn’t do it for me.

[–] I've been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the first time, and I have to say that Season 3's "The Zeppo" is probably one of my favorite episodes of any show ever. zkiteman 3 points ago * (lasted edited 18 days ago) in television

I don’t want to say too much about S5E16, but I’ve never seen a movie or tv show handle that kind of a situation in a more jarring and realistic way than that. It was amazingly written, and incredible acting to pull it off. Still stays with me 18 years later
